Getting There...

Mustique Island

The island is not easy to reach but that is how it has maintained its quiet and peaceful charm.

To reach Mustique, you must first get to Barbados, which lies approximately 100 miles to the East. Presently three airlines fly from the U.S. to Barbados American Airlines and BWIA International and United Airlines. Flights are available either direct to Barbados or with a stop in San Juan. British Airways flys to Barbados from the United Kingdom.

Once you reach Barbados, you must connect with one of three airlines that service Mustique - LIAT Airways, Mustique Airways or SVG Airways.

Since the runway on Mustique does not have lights, all flights must leave Barbados to arrive on Mustique before nightfall. This generally means you must take the very early flights from the U.S. in order to avoid spending the night on Barbados - unless, of course, you want to break up your trip in this manner. Our experience has been to try to reach the island in one day. We suggest that you book your reservations as much in advance as possible. We generally book in September for December flights.
